Rather than working through a prescribed list of familiar songs, the emphasis is on original music, collaboration and spontaneous jams. Full Moon is part of the wider music community being developed by The Source Studio Exeter.
The aim isn't simply to run another regular open mic night. It's to create a shop window for Exeter's independent music community and provide a gateway into the wider activities taking place at The Source.
That includes recording, rehearsal, music production, live recording, music video production, stocking musicnas' merch, artist development and opportunities for musicians to connect and collaborate.
The open mic becomes the meeting point.
